Honoring Our Military Community During Military Appreciation Month

As Military Appreciation Month comes to a close, Fort Bragg Federal Credit Union is proud to recognize the military community that has been at the heart of our mission since our founding. Throughout May, we participated in events that celebrated service and honored those we have lost.

On May 15, we sponsored the 6th Annual SSG Jake Hess Memorial Golf Scramble, an event celebrating the life and legacy of SSG Jake Hess, a decorated Special Operations Soldier based at Fort Bragg. It was a privilege to support an event that continues to preserve his memory and bring the community together in his honor.

We also had the opportunity to attend the Run, Honor, Remember 5K, a non-competitive event dedicated to remembering fallen Soldiers. Along the course, participants passed memorial boots displayed in tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice, creating a reminder of the individuals behind the freedoms we enjoy today.

We are grateful for the opportunity to participate in events like these and connect with the community we serve.
