2025 Doris E. O'Brien Award

Lela McKissick, Secretary of the Fort Bragg Federal Credit Union’s Supervisory Committee, was recognized with the Doris E. O’Brien Award for outstanding volunteer service in 2025. She has faithfully served on the FBFCU Supervisory Committee for more than nine years. Her long-standing dedication reflects a deep commitment to supporting the credit union’s integrity and its members.

The Doris E. O'Brien Award was created in honor of Doris E. O’Brien who served on the Board of Directors and created a legacy that inspired others to engage in volunteer service while embodying loyalty and dedication to FBFCU. Mrs. O’Brien served on the Board of Directors for 28 years before her passing in 2010. Karen Elsom, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors, presented the award at the credit union’s annual membership meeting on March 17, 2026.
