Our Hefner Drive, Ramsey Street, and Raeford Road locations allow you to rent a secure safety deposit box for your documents and valuables. We offer a variety of sizes, from small boxes (3” x 5”) to extra-large boxes (10” x 10”), based on availability.

Utility Deposit Waiver Program

Fort Liberty Federal Credit Union works with Fort Liberty command and the Housing Office to offer this program, which allows members who are active-duty soldiers at Fort Liberty to waive utility service deposits. To qualify, you must be a member of Fort Liberty Federal Credit Union, an active duty soldier stationed at Fort Liberty, and eligible for BAH. 

The Utility Deposit Waiver Program (UDWP) is the combined effort of the Fort Liberty command, the Housing Office and Fort Liberty Federal Credit Union to help soldiers waive utility deposits by having the deposits guaranteed by the credit union.

Savings Bonds

U.S. Savings Bonds are now paperless! Paper savings bonds can no longer be purchased through financial institutions or mail-in orders. You can buy electronic savings bonds safely, 24/7, through TreasuryDirect. If you are currently holding paper savings bonds, you can continue to redeem them at financial institutions including Fort Liberty Federal Credit Union. Whether you’re saving for a child’s education, a new boat, your dream home, retirement, or a trip around the world, Savings Bonds can help you reach your financial goals with safety, market-based yields, and tax benefits. Night Drops

Aside from our convenient ATMs, you can deposit money after business hours in our branch Night Drops. Night Drops are available at all branch locations except 1650 Skibo Road.

Funds Availability Policy

U.S. Treasury checks that are payable to you, wire transfers, and checks drawn on Fort Liberty Federal Credit Union. Immediately When We Receive the Deposit
Electronic direct deposits, cash, state and local government checks that are payable to you, cashier’s, certified and teller’s checks are payable to you, Federal Reserve Bank checks, Federal Home Loan Bank checks, and postal money orders, if these items are payable to you. Direct Deposit/Payroll Deduction

All members have access to early direct deposits. Any direct deposit to your account will be available a day before it would usually appear. Your deposit must be in the ACH file the prior day in order to have this early access. In the event of payroll submission being late, ACH may not post early.  Example: if you ‘should’ get paid on Wednesday, your funds will now be deposited into your account on Tuesday! * The U.S. Treasury Department is phasing out paper check payments and requiring federal benefit recipients to get their money electronically. You now must use electronic payments. You can choose to get your payments by direct deposit to a bank or credit union account or to a Direct Express® Debit MasterCard® card account.

Wire Transfers

Wire Transfers are a secure, fast, and seamless way to transfer money between accounts held at different financial institutions.

To receive and send wires from your account, a signed Wire Transfer Agreement must be on file.  Please click the link below to electronically sign and send your agreement.

Sending Wires

Domestic wire transactions can be requested at one of our Branches or by calling our Contact Center.  International wire transactions must be requested at one of our Branches.  There is a $15.00 charge for domestic wires and a $45.00 charge for international wires. Wire transfers are processed on weekdays.  To ensure same-day processing, domestic wire requests must be received before 4:00 p.m. and international wire requests must be submitted before 3:00 p.m.  Please note, wire transfers are not processed on weekends or during Credit Union holidays.

To send a wire, please provide us with the following information:     

  • Name of Financial Institution       

  • City, State       

  • ABA Routing / Transit Number      

  • Any Special Routing Instructions      

  • Name of the Recipient          

  • Account Number and Address of the Recipient         

  • Account type (Savings or Checking)

Western Union

If you would like to send money to friends and family around the world instantly, our Western Union services can help you do so. 

Crooks are making it tough to easily transfer money! Because of this, Western Union has tightened their policies for anyone sending a Western Union money transfer over $1,000.00. Please take a look below at the information needed prior to contacting us. ForALL Western Union wire transfers, Fort Liberty Federal Credit Union will need the sender's name, address, zip code, and phone number along with the following:

For $1,000.00 and above:

  • Sender’s date of birth

  • The type of Primary ID, plus the ID number and state or country of issue, the receiver will be using to pick up the money. (Examples: Driver's License number and issuing state, Military ID number and issuing country, Passport ID number and issuing country).

For $3,000.00 and above:

  • Sender's date of birth

  • The type of Primary ID, plus the ID number and state or country of issue, the receiver will be using to pick up the money. (Examples: Driver's License number and issuing state, Military ID number and issuing country, Passport ID number and issuing country).

  • The primary ID the receiver will be using and a secondary ID he or she will have (i.e. Social Security Number, Passport ID, or Alien ID plus the ID number)

  • What occupation the receiver has or retired from


Note for Arizona: When sending Western Unions to Arizona please remember that there is only a $450.00 limit per day and a $1,000.00 a week per receiver.

American Express Travelers Cheques are no longer offered at our branch locations.


Notary Public

If you need a document or signature on a document notarized, all our locations have staff members who can offer notary services. If you are a member of Fort Liberty Federal Credit Union, these services are offered at no cost to you. 

We have staff members who can perform legal notary service as well as signature guarantees. These services are free to Fort Liberty Federal Credit Union members. These services are available at all of our locations.


Overdraft Coverage

Fort Liberty Federal Credit Union understands that unexpected overdrafts occur from time to time — establishing one or multiple overdraft protection service options can help. Overdraft protection may help prevent overdrafts by automatically transferring funds to your checking account from another account, line of credit, or credit card cash advance you have at Fort Liberty Federal Credit Union for a fee or finance charge. While good account management is the best way to avoid overdrafts, why not have the security of a safety net just in case you need it?

Fort Liberty Federal Credit Union wants to help protect your family with

$3,000.00 INSURANCE COVERAGE PAID FOR YOU BY FORT LIBERTY FEDERAL CREDIT UNION

As a Fort Liberty Federal Credit Union member age 18 or older you can help protect your family’s financial future with Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance underwritten by Minnesota Life Insurance Company. In addition to the $3,000.00 Credit Union Paid coverage, you can purchase Additional Coverage at group rates.

  • You are pre-authorized for Additional Coverage up to $300,000

  • Your acceptance is guaranteed - No Medical Exams or Health Questions

  • Benefits are paid to your beneficiary if you die from a covered accident


You cannot be turned down for the Credit Union Paid Coverage —or any additional coverage you may select. All coverage reduces by 50% at age 70 and older, regardless of age at enrollment.
